One More Day is a Christ centered grief group that seeks to provide

God has written a new song for your life!

The Story of One More Day

On March 2nd , 2016, my life was devastated with the unexpected passing of a beautiful, lovely lady, my wife of 36 1/2 years.

Standing beside her casket during her March 5th calling hours, dealing with all this deep pain and shock, as unreasonable as it seemed at the time, God began birthing a ministry inside of me for grief stricken people.

I now know I had to face what I had to go through to be able to be used by God.

Looking back, I didn’t feel God’s mercy and grace at the time, and by July and August I was very confused and very angry at God.

However, since that most heartbreaking day, I have realized many times that God doesn’t waste a hurt!

That day, I couldn’t begin to realize but now I know, God was birthing a new ministry in my life titled, "One More Day” that began October 13, 2016.

God blessed me with a help mate, best friend, and wife as of September 9th, 2017, Annette, widowed herself for 6 years after 27 1/2 years of marriage.

Together we have experienced the joy of ministering and being ministered to by many others seeking support, encouragement, and a coming together to try to better understand this mystery called death!

From the very beginning, God brought Larry and Vickie McCabe into our lives whom we couldn’t be more grateful enough for their, what we both feel, was a Divine appointed partnership for this Christ centered, Faith based grief ministry.

Larry passed November 13th, 2023, as saddened as we are and missing him daily, we remain grateful and happy knowing he is now spending eternity with the Christ he has shared with so many through the years!

The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

1 Corinthians 15:26 (KJV)

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of all mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort of where with we ourselves are comforted of God.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (KJV)

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.

Revelation 21:4 (KJV)
